    Thanks Ann. While in DR with you, it was interesting to learn about DR attitudes toward Haitians, but I never learned why….. I still don’t get it. Thanks for sharing info about Haiti’s very troubled history. I love Garcia Navarro’s interviews.

      Susan, I agree it’s hard to understand. Thinking about it – many countries and cultures feel better about themselves by finding someone else to look down on.

      Even across neighborhood, town, or state lines in the US, some groups feel superior to others. And, of course sports fans look down on other teams’ fans. They obviously have more in common than not.

      Not saying it’s right, just an observation.
